Pricing

I believe you should know exactly what you're paying before I arrive. All fees are listed below. Your total is the notarization fee plus your travel zone, plus any applicable surcharges. No surprises.

Notarization

Signature Fee

California sets the maximum notarization fee by law. I charge the state maximum.

Notarized signature (acknowledgment or jurat)	$15 per signature
Oath or affirmation (no notarial certificate)	$15 per person
Certified copy of power of attorney	$15 per copy

Multiple signatures: Many documents require more than one notarized signature. Each signature on each separate document counts as one notarization. For example, if a power of attorney and a grant deed each need one signature notarized, that's two fees of $15 each.

Travel is charged as a flat fee by zone. No per-mile calculations, no guesswork. Your zone is based on your city.

Surcharges & Add-Ons

The following surcharges apply when relevant and stack with each other where applicable.

Rush / Same-Day	Appointments booked and completed the same day (2-hour minimum notice)	+$35
Hospital / Care Facility	Any signing at a hospital, nursing home, or care facility	+$25
Waiting Fee	After 20 minutes of wait time beyond scheduled start	$2/minute
Printing	Documents printed and brought to appointment (2-hour advance notice required)	$1/page
Scanning	Documents scanned at appointment	$1/page
Journal Record Copies	Copies of notarial journal entries (written request required per CA Gov. Code §8206)	$0.30/page

Surcharges stack. For example, a rush appointment after 7pm would incur both the rush surcharge (+$35) and the after-hours surcharge (+$35), for a combined +$70 above the base fees.
